PMI Tulsa is pleased to announce our sponsorship of an overseas aid project in Carrilho, Brazil that is organized through Oral Roberts University. The project aims to help meet the economic and social needs of the community of Carrilho through sustainable business and community development. Students from a variety of majors – business, engineering, nursing, education, etc. – are all joining together to tackle the biggest problems facing the community. Nathaniel Dow, VP of Membership and ORU alumni, is volunteering as project manager to oversee the completion all the Brazil aid projects.

The ORU Business team has requested assistance in logistics and supply chain management for the main goal of their project: the export of Carrilho cashews to one or more international markets. We encourage any members of the PMI Tulsa chapter who are experienced in these areas to help the team. A few chapter members who attended the March meeting have already offered to fulfill the needs of the Education and Engineering teams.
