February Meeting - Profiles in Projects: Tulsa Zoo's Lost Kingdom Exhibit
Presenter: Terrie Correll, CEO, Tulsa Zoo
Topic: Profiles in Projects - Tulsa Zoo's Lost Kingdom Exhibit. Join us as we learn about this important community project and enjoy a personal tour of their newest exhibit with Terrie Correll, Tulsa Zoo's CEO.
As part of the Tulsa Zoo's Master Plan, the Lost Kingdom Exhibit was the first project to reach its completion in June 2017. Master planning is an exercise that many large-scale organizations initiate to form a road map for future projects. These projects will be funded by the zoo’s 'Building Beyond Your Wildest Dreams' capital campaign. The Tulsa Zoo seeks to expand existing exhibits and implement new ones, organized by each animal’s region of origin. Learn about the challenges and lessons learned during this vast community project, including important tactics required to accommodate Integration, Scope, Quality, and Communications Management challenges.
