How did you first learn about Project Management as a formal methodology?
- I first learned about Project Management methodology during my time as a store manager for Starbucks when we were rolling out huge organization-wide changes. I was fascinated by how much change we were able to create in a short amount of time with such ease.
Can you share a bit about a recent project you've worked on and your role?
- I recently worked on a women’s health webinar project that had 30 different presenters and 15 breakout sessions. My role was to set-up the framework for the execution of the webinar, create and communicate the run-of-show across digital spaces as well as manage the behind the scenes technology. The webinar went off very smoothly even during an arctic ice storm complete with rolling blackouts!
Are there any aspects of project management that you're most excited to learn more about (e.g. resource management, stakeholder management, schedule management, etc.)?
- I am most interested in learning more about Stakeholder Management and Project Communications Management as sharpening these skills would most benefit my team.
